We will spend a full day (8am to 4pm) exploring the Santa Barbara Channel aboard the Condor Express, a jet-powered catamaran customed built for whale watching. Captain David Beezer brings years of experience to the helm, and is an expert is handling vessels near wildlife (Thanks for being WhaleSAFE!).

Late September has been an exciting time in the Santa Barbara Channel in recent years. This year is looking to follow the same trends, with sightings from the last month including a sperm whale, killer whales, and incredible humpback encounters! Additionally, the recent hurricane has caused unusual sightings over recent weeks throughout the SoCal Bight - Bryde's whales, beaked whales, a whale shark, megamouth sharks, frigate birds, all four species of boobies, and tropicbirds!

While we never know what we may find, this is an incredible time to explore the Channel!!
